On your first visit we will assess your, or your client's cycling needs and match you to a suitable bike.

Some people with a disability want to ride their own bike in the safety of our group. That's no problem and as long as we are satisfied your bike is roadworthy, you are very welcome to do this.

Clients who attend with carers will need to be accompanied by their carers on the ride.
We have low, step over bikes for carers to use, although for carers who are unable to cycle, we can accommodate them on our side-by-side trike, tandems, or tagalongs, so that they can be with their client on the ride.

Each of our rides is conducted as a group. The minor junctions on route are controlled by our lead and rear cycling volunteers. All of our volunteers will wear 'hi-viz' tabards and there are warning signs out on our route to warn the small amount of road traffic of our presence.

All clients and carers will be required to wear a cycle crash helmet, either their own or one belonging to our group. They will also be required to wear a 'hi-viz' tabard, either their own or one which we will supply.

There will be a First Aider and First Aid kit on every ride.

We have a breakdown system to deal with unforeseen mechanical issues and return people to the ride starting point. There is also a phone number for emergencies.

We have an online reservation system for our bikes. After your first visit and once we know what type of cycle you or your client needs, you can then reserve your sessions online.

A voluntary donation of by is requested for each client ride. This helps pay for our third party liability insurance, cycle maintenance and rental of our operating venues. However, we will never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay.

In the case of inclement weather, you can check either here or on our Facebook page to confirm we are running. If we are not running, we will announce cancellations by 8:00am on the day of the ride, both online and by text message to your listed mobile contact number.

As an organisation we want to get people with any disability out cycling; from those with learning disability, learning difficulties and cerebral palsy, to those in stroke recovery, post-operative recovery, people with sight loss, physical disability or age infirmity. We want everyone to enjoy the benefits of cycling. The feeling of the wind in your hair, the sun on your face and the feeling of overwhelming good health that a fun activity so often brings.

We offer cycling to any adult with a disability, on quiet country roads in South Norfolk.

...we aim to help adults, with any disability, enjoy cycling in the safety of a group, alongside trained & experienced cyclists, who provide one-to-one supervision.

We have a range of bikes, including trikes, tandem trikes, trike tagalongs, rear steer tandems, side-by-side tandem, tandem trike wheelchair transporter, tandem trike wheelchair and handcycle. We are confident that following an assessment of your needs, we have bikes that will get most people out cycling.

We run all year round, currently Mondays and Fridays are available, with rides at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30, unless the weather is especially inclement. All our group rides are available for booking online and cover about 3.5 miles along quiet country roads.
