Our most stunning addition to the BikeActive Norfolk fleet is HAZEL our E Van Raam Velo Plus wheelchair transporter, named in memory of Hazel, by her parents, who sold BikeActive Norfolk this wonderful piece of equipment.

If you are wheelchair bound or you are the parent / carer of someone who is in this situation, this is the vehicle for you.

Piloted by our trained staff, those who have experienced the ride tell us it is like low-level flying! The tilt and lock mechanism ensures that those transported have their wheelchair secured on the carrying platform and with the additional security of a personal seat belt.

It gives a sense of freedom and a chance to enjoy the outdoors to people who may otherwise not have this opportunity, what is not to like?
